Handmade Glass Menorahs - Kezatzka Dancers Menorah

Handmade Glass Menorahs - Kezatzka Dancers Menorah

$287.92

Artist Susan Fullenbaum These kezatzka dancers from Russia were designed with Julie Staller-Pentelnik, a Jewish artist, specializing in Hebrew calligraphy and ketubot. The dancers were on an original piece of art and then adapted for sandblasting. This is the perfect gift for Hanukkah for any dancer who loves the joy of dance and the "celebration" of the holiday. Each section of this menorah has been hand cut, wrapped in copper and soldered into the shape of the menorah. The candle holders are added to the top - eight for each night of the holiday and one, the shammos, to light the candles each night. The holiday is called the "festival of lights". It celebrates the miracle of the small vessel of oil which burned for eight days in the Temple and the miracle of the small band of Maccabees and their victory over the Syrian king, Antiochus, and his army. Size - 12 x 6 x 4"
