Handmade Glass Menorahs - Seven Species Menorah

Artist Susan Fullenbaum arley, dates, figs, grapes, olives, pomegranates and wheat are the seven species in the Bible (Deuteronomy 8:8) that symbolize the fertility in the land of Israel. The sandblasted graphic design on the menorah, created with Julie Staller-Pentelnik, will be a very special gift for a family to light on Hanukkah. The peach water glass is mirrored, creating the shimmering effect on the menorah. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, wrapped in copper and soldered to form the shape of the menorah. The image is adhered to the beveled base and candle holders are added. Eight candle holders represent the eight nights of Hanukkah and one candle holder, the Shammas, is used to light the other candle holders each night. The candles are in a straight row and the shammas is slightly taller and separate. This specific arrangement makes the menorah a kosher menorah. Size - 12 x 7 x 4"
