Glass Havdalah Sets - Baroque Blue Havdalah
The ceremony of Havdalah was created to mark the transition between Shabbot and the new week of work. The Hebrew word havdalah means "separation". The ceremony goes back over two thousand years. The twisted havdalah candle when lit represents the first act of labor after the day of rest. Smelling the spices revives the spirits. The wine goblet is filled to the brim symbolizing one's wish for abundant blessings. Each part of this havdalah set in stained glass has been hand cut, wrapped in copper and soldered to form each specific shape of the item. Glass has been carefully chosen for line character and color. The grape pattern has been sandblasted onto the goblet. The goblet is included in the set.
