Handmade Glass & Stained Glass Mezuzahs - Family Mezuzah

In Jewish tradition the concept of family from generation to generation is of utmost importance. The graphic and Hebrew (L'dor v'dor) was designed with Julie Staller- Pentelnik, a Jewish artist, well known for her Hebrew calligraphy and ketubot. This mezuzah is the perfect gift for an anniversary, a wedding, or any special family. The graphic has been sandblasted into the glass and fire polished in the kiln. The second layer of glass is added to the mezuzah and then adhered to the plexiglass case. The mezuzah case comes with nails and a printed scroll or klaf, ready to be placed on the doorpost of a Jewish home. The scroll contains the words of two passages from Deuteronomy, 11:13 and 6:4-9. Deuteronomy 6:4-9 has the words of the "Shema Israel" in which God commands Jews to keep God's words constantly in their minds and in their hearts. Scroll opening - 7mm Plexiglass case 1 1/4 x 6"
